A Typical Day at the Institute
Mornings begin at 8:30 AM with a full breakfast. Coaching sessions
with assigned ensembles follow from 9-11 AM. The group then assembles
for a full hour of master classes.
Lunch is served at 12:15 PM. Vegetarian tastes are welcome and, with
prior arrangement, special diets can be accommodated.
Afternoons: Assigned ensembles resume from 1:30-3:30 PM. The
period of free time that follows can be used for relaxation and more music
making.
Evenings: Dinner is served at 5:30 PM, and by 7:00 PM the group convenes
for special sessions.
The workshop concludes with Saturday morning's special finale "Play With The
Pros" session.

MEALS: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are part of your workshop
day. Attendance at breakfast and lunch is required as ensemble
assignments are made at this time.
HOUSING: Housing is not available on
campus, but convenient accommodations can be obtained at local hotels or
in private homes. See application form for details. The cost of housing is
not included in the conference fee.
