Violinist Sunghae Anna Lim is a devoted chamber musician who has performed extensively with the Laurel Piano Trio, New Millennium Ensemble, Richardson Chamber Players, and the Cassatt String Quartet. She is delighted to join the Manhattan String Quartet this fall 2019. She has taught violin for 20 years at Princeton University and has coached chamber music in a range of settings: at Princeton and Yale Universities, at the Wellesley (now Brandeis) Composers’ Conference, the Bennington (now Colgate) Chamber Music Conference, the Maine Chamber Music Seminar and the Kansas City String Quartet Program. She appears regularly at the Portland Chamber Music Festival, Prussia Cove in the UK, the Weekend of Chamber Music in the Catskills and the White Mountains Music Festival. Anna serves on the advisory board for the Trenton Music Makers, an El-Sistema inspired program for children in Trenton, NJ and is the faculty advisor for Princeton University’s Trenton Youth Orchestra. She received a BA from Harvard University in History and Literature and completed her Diplom at the Mozarteum under Sandor Vegh.
